Effective Date: December 13, 2025

1. Purpose and Scope

This Content Policy governs all content submitted, uploaded, imported, converted, or distributed through Wricop.com, including but not limited to book manuscripts, PDFs, ePub files, HTML web books, book covers, images, and metadata.

By using Wricop.com’s self‑publishing services, every author and contributor agrees to comply with this Policy.

2. Definitions

  • “Platform” means Wricop.com and all related services, including web applications, APIs, and content processing features.
  • “Content” means any text, images, audio, video, code, or other material submitted to, stored on, or distributed through the Platform.
  • “User” or “Author” means any person or organization that creates an account and publishes or manages content on the Platform.

3. Author Responsibilities

  • Authors are solely responsible for the content they submit and publish, including legal compliance, accuracy, and respecting the rights of others.
  • Authors must ensure they have all required rights and permissions (including copyright and trademark) for all elements of their content, such as text, images, illustrations, and quotations.
  • Authors must not use the Platform to harm, exploit, or unlawfully target any person or group.

4. Prohibited Content

The following types of content are not allowed on Wricop.com. Content that contains or promotes these elements may be rejected, removed, or restricted.

4.1 Illegal Activities

  • Content that promotes, instructs, or facilitates illegal activities (for example: terrorism, serious violent crime, fraud, hacking, money laundering, or child exploitation).
  • Detailed instructions that enable readers to commit crimes or evade law enforcement.

4.2 Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse

  • Any sexual or suggestive content involving minors, whether real, fictional, or depicted.
  • Any content that normalizes, excuses, or trivializes sexual interest in minors.

4.3 Hate, Harassment, and Discrimination

  • Content that attacks, dehumanizes, or encourages violence or discrimination against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or serious illness.
  • Use of slurs, degrading stereotypes, or calls for exclusion that target protected groups.

4.4 Extremism and Terrorism

  • Content that praises, supports, or recruits for extremist organizations or individuals.
  • Propaganda intended to radicalize or mobilize readers to commit violence or join extremist causes.

4.5 Self-Harm and Suicide

  • Content that instructs, encourages, or glorifies self‑harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
  • Content that romanticizes or presents self‑harm as desirable or as a solution to problems.

4.6 Graphic Violence

  • Graphic descriptions of extreme physical injury, torture, or gore where the main purpose is to shock, disgust, or arouse.
  • Non‑graphic mentions of violence may be allowed when they are clearly part of a legitimate educational, historical, journalistic, or literary context and are not glorified.

4.7 Sexual Content

  • Explicit pornographic content whose primary goal is sexual arousal, including detailed descriptions of sexual acts without meaningful artistic, educational, or literary context.
  • Content that eroticizes non‑consensual activities such as rape, sexual assault, or coercion.

4.8 Misinformation and Harmful Health Claims

  • Deliberate misinformation presented as fact on critical topics (for example: public health, elections, major emergencies) where it can cause real‑world harm.
  • Health or medical claims that encourage readers to abandon necessary treatment or adopt dangerous practices, especially when they clearly contradict established medical consensus.

4.9 Intellectual Property Infringement

  • Content that copies or closely imitates copyrighted works without permission, including books, articles, images, or audio.
  • Unauthorized translations, compilations, or reproductions of third‑party content that do not provide substantial original value or transformation.

4.10 Spam, Deceptive, or Low-Value Content

  • Mass‑produced, low‑quality content created solely to manipulate search rankings, clicks, or affiliate revenue, without real value for readers.
  • Misleading titles, covers, or descriptions created to trick readers into believing the content is something it is not, including impersonation of known authors or organizations.

5. Sensitive and Context-Dependent Content

Certain topics are sensitive and allowed only under strict conditions. Wricop.com may apply additional review to:

5.1 Educational, Historical, and Journalistic Works

  • Books that discuss topics such as hate speech, violence, extremism, or sexual content from an educational, historical, biographical, academic, or journalistic perspective.
  • These works must treat such topics with care, provide clear context, and avoid unnecessary detail that could be interpreted as endorsement or glorification.

5.2 Health, Psychology, and Self-Help

  • Books about mental health, trauma, self‑harm, or suicide that focus on prevention, awareness, or recovery are generally allowed.
  • Authors are encouraged to include appropriate warnings and, where relevant, information about seeking professional help or emergency support.

5.3 Religious and Political Content

  • Religious or political commentary, advocacy, and analysis are permitted provided they do not cross into hate, harassment, or incitement to violence.
  • Election‑related or public policy content must not contain clearly false claims intended to deceive or manipulate civic processes.

6. Moderation and Review

Wricop.com uses a combination of automated systems and human moderators to uphold this Policy.

  • Content may be automatically checked and classified for potential risk (for example: levels of violence, hate, sexual content, or self‑harm).
  • Content that appears to contain serious or borderline violations may be temporarily held for manual review before being published or may be re‑evaluated after publication.

Moderators consider the following when reviewing content:

  • The overall purpose and context of the book (for example: education, memoir, fiction, research).
  • The clarity of warnings or disclaimers, where applicable.
  • Whether harmful elements are being promoted, glorified, or presented responsibly.

Wricop.com has the final decision on whether content complies with this Policy and may remove or restrict content at its discretion.

7. Possible Actions for Policy Violations

If content is found to violate this Policy, Wricop.com may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Reject or unpublish the specific book or version.
  • Request edits or changes as a condition for approval or continued publication.
  • Limit distribution, visibility, or availability in certain regions or channels.
  • Issue warnings to the author or temporarily suspend account capabilities.
  • Permanently close accounts in cases of serious or repeated violations, especially involving illegal content or exploitation.

8. User Reporting and Appeals

8.1 Reporting

  • Readers and users can report content that they believe violates this Policy through the reporting or support channels provided by Wricop.com.
  • Reports should clearly identify the book, author, and the part of the content that is concerning (for example: chapter, section, or page).

8.2 Appeals

  • Authors may appeal moderation decisions within a reasonable timeframe, providing additional context or updated content if they choose to revise the work.
  • Appeals are reviewed by a moderation team, which may uphold, modify, or reverse the original decision.
  • After an appeal has been fully reviewed, the decision of Wricop.com is final for hosting and distribution on the Platform.

9. Copyright, Licensing, and Plagiarism

  • Authors must ensure their work is original or properly licensed, including any external text, images, diagrams, or other materials.
  • If requested, authors should be able to provide proof of rights or permissions for third‑party content used in their books.
  • Content suspected to be plagiarized or largely copied from other sources may be removed and the associated account may face restrictions.

10. Privacy and Personal Information in Content

  • Authors must avoid publishing sensitive personal information about private individuals (for example: addresses, identification numbers, financial details) without a clear legal basis and consent.
  • Memoirs, biographies, and investigative works must respect privacy and defamation laws and should present information fairly and responsibly.

11. Accessibility and Technical Quality

  • Content submitted in PDF, ePub, or HTML formats should follow basic quality and readability standards, including clear text, logical structure, and working navigation.
  • Where reasonable, authors are encouraged to support accessibility (for example: meaningful headings, descriptive captions, and understandable layout).
  • Wricop.com may reject or request corrections for files that are corrupted, unreadable, or clearly not suitable for standard reading devices.

12. AI-Assisted and Automatically Generated Content

  • Authors may use AI or automated tools to assist with drafting, but remain fully responsible for the final content’s accuracy, originality, and compliance with this Policy.
  • Books that are largely auto‑generated but provide no meaningful editorial oversight, originality, or value to readers may be limited or rejected.

13. Regional and Legal Requirements

  • Laws and content standards vary across countries and regions. Wricop.com may apply additional restrictions or adapt distribution based on local legal requirements.
  • Some content may be available in certain regions but not others if local regulations or partner requirements differ.

14. Policy Updates

  • Wricop.com may update this Content Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, community standards, or platform capabilities.
  • When material changes are made, Wricop.com will notify users through appropriate channels, and continued use of the Platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

15. Contact

  • For questions about this Content Policy, moderation outcomes, or how to handle sensitive topics in a compliant way, users can contact Wricop.com through the provided support channels.
  • Authors are encouraged to ask in advance if they are unsure whether their planned content fits within this Policy.
